JUKI AMERICA, INC. ("JA") warrants this home sewing machine (the "Product"), excluding consumable parts (such as needles, loopers, feed dogs, knife blades, bulbs, lamps and belts) to the original purchaser to be free from defects in the materials or workmanship of the Product under normal use and service from the date of purchase, as follows:
1. for a limited warranty period of two years on motors, light assembly, wiring, switches, circuit boards and speed control; and
2. for a limited warranty period of five years on all other parts.
If at any time during the applicable limited warranty period, the product is determined to be defective JA will replace or repair the Product, at JA's option. The Product is warranted only for normal household non-commercial use. This limited warranty does not cover damages due to acts of God, accidents, misuse, abuse, negligence, Commercial use, or modifica-tion of, or to any part of the Product, This limited warranty shall be null and void unless the original purchaser (i) complies with all operating instructions in the manual provided or (ii) fails to have the Product periodically serviced and tuned by an authorized JA dealer in accordance with the manual.
This warranty may only be used by the original purchaser of this home sewing machine. This limited warranty is not trans-ferable to any subsequent purchaser and/or owner. Service under this warranty may only be obtained within the United States and Canada. (see instructions below)
JA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAM-AGE OR DEFECT RESULTING FROM THE USE OF OTHER THAN JUKI PARTS AND APPROVED SERVICE IN THE REPAIR OF THE PRODUCT. REPAIR OR REPLACE-MENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE PURCHASER. JA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND INCLUDING INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limi-tation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.
THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THOSE DESCRIBED HERE-IN. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROSCRIBED BY THE APPLICABLE LAW, THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUD-ING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT-ABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS PRODUCT IS HEREBY LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIM-ITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
To obtain limited warranty services the pur-chaser must deliver or send the Product post-age or freight pre-paid, to the JA dealer from whom the Product was purchased or to such other place as may be designated by JA, along with (a) the original dated bill of sale, (b) a copy of warranty registration confirmation email, and, (c) a written short description of the defect. JA is not responsible for any damage that occurs to the Product during transportation to or from the purchaser. JA recommends you retain original box and packaging material.
